    What is SLES?

The School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) program is available for eligible NDIS participants as they leave school and make plans to start work. SLES gives Year 12 students with disability the skills move from school to work.

If you are in your final year of school or have just finished school and thinking what’s next for me and If employment or further education is part of your future, then enquire about SLES as it maybe you important next step.

The NDIS funded School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) is designed to provide you with the individualised support to help you build the foundation skills for employment.

SLES services should be tailored to meet individual employment goals and are available for individuals who are eligible for NDIS and have been identified as suitable for SLES supports.

This is identified through a discussion with a NDIA delegate in a planning meeting.

The School Leaver Employment Support (SLES) services are available for eligible NDIS participants in their final year of school (or recently left school) who are considering entering the workforces and needs support as they make these important steps along their career pathways.

SLES gives NDIS eligible School Leavers the technical and “soft skills” to participate in the workforce and strive to maximise their capabilities with the right support as needed.
